Celebrate the Century Commemorative Stamp Collection

Is the Celebrate the Century Commemorative Stamp Collection from 1900-1999 (all 10 issues) in a USPS padded folder worth anything? I uncovered one that my aunt gave to me years ago.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • I've never heard of them. Are they actually stamps.

That's an eBay link to one that is selling right now. Mine has a padded folder. Is $50 an accurate price range for it?

A few bucks above face value is a reasonable price if selling on eBay; otherwise they are worth about face. The album may only add a couple of bucks to someone who is looking for that. If selling to a dealer, he/she will most likely offer less than face value for the set. These are considered modern stamps and many people still use them as postage. If you like them though, it doesn't matter what they are worth especially if they have sentimental value.
  • Actually did pretty well in auction.

Where are these people when I have lots up? I wonder about some bidders and even if that one was a true buyer. You could buy the set w/ other sellers using BIN at a lower cost. Go figure...
