Does anyone have the *listed * blackout dates for February?
I submitted a "regular" on 2/22 and called today because technically yesterday was the 15th day. The customer service rep got very defensive and rude and said that today was not the 15th day, that March 23rd would be the 15th day. He said that the blackout dates from the Baltimore show effected my submission. I told him that I submitted way before this show to make sure I would have the proper time. He told me that I was wrong, and that was that.
This does not make sense to me. What good is it to pay more to get your coins graded in a timely manner, if they dont really get graded in a decent amount of time anyway?? What good is a service guarantee if they are going to revise it to suit their needs?
This is worse than before. my god.

on Feb 23rd as Day One. The PCGS invitational was from 2/28 to 3/02. Not sure if that was a blackout
or not.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
ANACS has recently lowered the bar, and this has put additional pressure on PCGS to keep up (which is really down). When will it end?
At least it's free
Edited to add: Yes, 2/28-3/02 was blacked out & the next one started today!
Feb 27 - Day 3
Mar 3 - Day 4
Mar 6-10 - Days 5-9
Mar 13 - Day 10
Mar 14 - Day 11
Mar 15 - Day 12
Mar 20 - Day 13
Mar 21 - Day 14
Mar 22 - Day 15
If I'm off a day for travel to Baltimore (even though it is not listed as a blackout date), that would put it agreeing with PCGS at 3/23.

People come in all the time with their screwed up tax returns from other tax preparers that gave them initially instant gratification and I advised them that to amend their tax returns and do it right would take 35 days.
They left as speed was more important than getting it done right the first time. They ended up coming back after the second tax preparer screwed up the amended returns and the IRS rejected their refunds.
This time, I told them nicely that it will still take 35 days to complete the 2004 amended return PLUS the blackout days of between today and April 17th.
They STILL LEFT UNSATISFIED INSISTING THAT SOMEONE COMPLETE THEIR 2nd amended return within the week!!
Unbelievable.
To those day by day counters with PCGS. Instead of being upset, be happy! Now you get free grading!!
