I've decided to sell my PSA graded 1954 Red Man partial set

Hi Guys, I've decided to sell my PSA graded 1954 Red Man partial set. The partial set has a GPA of just under 5.25 and includes many stars and Hall of Famers. I really liked this set but money is very tight and I haven't bought a new card for it in months. I can't just let it sit in the closet and get dusty. I want to continue to peck away at the graded 1984 and 1985 Donruss Hall of Famers along with trying to get a few more PSA 7 upgrades for my 1956 Topps set (only 10 more to go). As many of the Red Man collectors already know - the SMR goes out the window when you are dealing with Red Man cards. I believe that I bought these cards right and still there were only a few cards out of the 37 in my set that sold for near SMR. They almost always went for anywhere between 150% - 200% of SMR plus shipping. These cards are condition sensitive based on the way that they were packages with the tobacco pouchs. Even mid-grade cards like PSA 5s and PSA 6s are very sought after and are very beautifully colored cards . My complete set can be seen on the PSA registry under the heading "Neil B. Downey and Sons Collection". I'd like to sell this as a complete lot but I will listen to fair and reasonable offers for any singles. After giving you guys the first crack at them, perhaps I'll try Ebay next. Take a look and PM or email me at nbdowney@msn.com if you are interested in any. Thanks for your time, Neil

Good luck with the sale. I finished my '55 set a few months ago and I know it isn't easy in any grade.

Don't you just hate that. My $$$ is pretty tight as well and I've considered parting with my '67 Topps Set but I just can't bring myself to do it. image
