Unfortunately my camera is useless ( as you can see from this photo ) so I won't bother posting the obverse.

All I need now is a Double Shaft Crown.

Hmmm, just previewed it - the photo does the coin no justice what so ever. image

    The line across the reverse in the second photo is just the plastic from the holder.

    Hi Jester - it's not the same coin as this is a single shaft specimen and the other is a double shaft.

    The double shaft ZAR coins are way more valuable then the single shaft coins. So I wanted to be really sure about the double shaft coin before bidding on it as, if there are several bidders, it will sell for a small fortune.

    Did you buy the double shaft? It appeared to possibly be an uncirculated coin, if my memory serves me correctly.

    I haven't purchased it yet but it is still available.

    Unfortunately there are a few other very rare ZAR pieces available too and I only have limited money. image
