I just want to share something

I collect Emmitt Smith and Marshall Faulk cards. I have been buying box after box of 1994 UD football. I always liked the issue since I bought a box back in '94. Anyway my main objective was to get a Marshall Faulk rc good enough to grade a 10. I pulled appr. 12 of them but this issue is very condition sensative. All of them had the typical corner damage associated with this issue. I have also been looking on Ebay for two years with no luck either. The pop report lists only 24 graded with three 10's (electric)
There is a seller on ebay that I have had many great transactions with. During our last one I asked him if he had this card. Of course I waited to hear from him but I didnt get my hopes up. He emailed me back and said he had one, an electric siver version at that! I am pumped! Anyway I just wanted to share this with all of you and I will post it when it comes.

Thanks

Wasn't Marshall Faulk like Barry Sanders' caddy or butler or something along those lines?

I also collect Marshall Faulk . Did you pull any of his predictor cards? I used to have the blue one but can't seem to find it? Those if I recall were very tough pull?

I agree, those cards are super nice. You know what else is real nice? '94 fleer ultra football. I bought four boxes of those as well looking for Marshall and Bruce rc. Got some nice ones but the foil on the bottom of the cards make them tough to get perfect.

Dont you collect Griffey Jr too? I think I have some Jimmy Dean Griffs somewhere.

That is a sweet Bettis. Where's his belly? He looks like the pre-steriods Bonds.

I refuse to tell you what holders these are in but ........................they were very very cheap and I am a Rams fan so it didn't bother me.
Matt.........I am pretty straight on Griffey Jr. when it comes to main stream stuff , I have been searching high and low for the 90 Leaf Preview,
Stadium Club members only and first day issue cards but really only need a few more and I will have a complete run of those and I will be down unless something real odd ball surfaces?

John,Those ultra's look sweet! Did you submit them or by them on Ebay?
  • jackstrawjackstraw Posts: 3,777 ✭✭✭
    Matt
I bought them off Ebay 4 or 5 years ago? I also have a Bruce and Faulk 94 Stadium Club. They are also pretty cool looking cards. I know they are not worth much but they are in the look at when I am bored box of cards in the closet, with all the stars from the 95 Topps Inaguaral Pathers and Jaguar stamped cards, 93 Score Select stars, 97 Upper Deck and some various 80's cards of Payton,Dickerson,Marino and Elway and my Jackie Slater Rookie . I am about to buy that 94 Predictor set to add to it.

John. Let me in on the Faulk's grade. I am going to take a gamble on one I pulled that I think might have a shot at a high grade. Is yours a 9 or 10?
  • jackstrawjackstraw Posts: 3,777 ✭✭✭
Its a PRO 9.5 Mint+ ? What ever that means. I bought these when the first started the PRO thing and I would say the four would all cross to PSA 9's and 10's. I bought them for 99 cents each image

Are you thinking about crossing them to another holder?
