Guess that is why I am gravitating toward half dollars....

Now notice I didn't say anything like REAL half dollars versus ... let's just say....NEWER half dollars....

I said nothing about newer half dollars being MODERN CRAP or anything like that at all.....

In fact... not even once did the words ubber goober come out of my mouth.....

I sorted and checked over 7,500 dimes that my father bought for silver in about 1980 and picked out about 60 coins worth putting in holders for my kids and only 6 that went into airtites that were worth more than $10 each. I did find one Barber dime that was worth about $35 in its present grade and would have gone 10x that, or more, if I could just read 3 letters of "Liberty".

When I started I didn't know much more than the different kids of dimes I was looking at, but now I could grade a Mercury, or Barber, or Roosie in a few seconds.

Now if I could only find about 5,000 gold Indians and Liberty coins to look at so I wouldn't buy any junk gold.

I've got enough of the very circulated ones to make a couple rolls. Couldn't say they are unsearched though as I've gone over each of them with a fine toothed comb about a dozen times. Do they even make paper rolls for a half dime size coin? That would be neat.
