Please tell me about this NGC slab....

Can I assume that this coin is in original condition because it's slabbed or did they not put a grade on because it might have a rim ding or an old cleaning? What's this slab about?

Looks like one of those bulk submissions/ contract grading for a mass marketer. QVC or Coin Vault, maybe a "matchbook cover" type marketing.

Other than that wild guess, I'm stumped.

Instead of answering your questions, I think it better to just say "Forget about it!".image
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

It's from a h0ard of Carson city dollars that turned up just about the same time as the Fitzgerald hoard of all that stuff from the casino, what was it some half million coins, chips, memorabilia an all kinds of other stuff. The Carson City hoard got downed out of the limelight. Kind of like how the Nevada Silver Hoard got overshadowed by the Binion Hoard.

Since it is graded as circulated though it probably was dispersed via the TV programs. I've been trying to get my hands on one but sofar they've all been over priced. He has several of these so I may see if I can pick one up.

He has several of the Firzgerald dollars as well. Fitzgerald dollar
