Off Topic...Help Needed

I recently got a new computer and have been having trouble getting into the PSA forums to post/reply. I finally have that issue solved, but I cannot check PM's. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to check that, but when I click on the "cusomize" tab, I get an error stating that I have to be logged in first.

make sure you are logged in (all the way on the right) and then click on the profile button

I'm logged in, but I have no profile option nor can I customize. This is driving me nuts!

Thats strange. The only time there is no profile button or customize button is when you are not logged in. Try logging out then back in.

As I am typing this, my options in the tool bar menu which is under the Navigation are:
customize, search, today, help, home, and login

i dont think you're logged in. Mine says logout...and I know I'm logged in with PM capabilities.

if it says login then that means your not logged in. you need to login

Too weird my friend. If the login/logout button says login then you are not logged in. So what does it say right now?

You don't have to be logged in to post. If you click on the message reply, you can continue to enter your username and password with each post and you are automatically logged out after each post. There is a small check box under the password (I want to stay logged in.) Make sure that box is checked with your next post and you will stay logged in. Then you can change your pm options , etc.

I checked the "I want to stay logged in" box, posted "Let me try that" and then came back...didn't stay logged in.

I sounds like you have a corrupted cookie. Click Tools > Internet Options and click the Delete Cookies button. Then try logging in again.

Which browser are you using?
IE or Firefox?
Firefox blocks pop-ups as the default, and I know that you have to enable them in order to log in.

if you are using IE, go to Tools->Internet options. Click on the privacy tab. Your settings may be too high to not allow certain cookies to reside on your system. You might want to lower that setting and see if that works for u.

Thrill, I am happy that donnnster knew what was going on with your computer and showed you the way! As far as the pics go I guess I have too much time on my hands. Thats going to change though in a few weeks. My summer-time schedule begins April 1st
