Sniper of choice? Questions... (long)
As a seller I have long hated automated sniping tools, but as a buyer I hate when I forget about an auction or get stuck at work (or traffic) and miss a chance to bid on a coin. Especially when the coin closes for far less than what I would have bid (not that I would win all of them but I would like to have a chance). I find if I bid early, a lot of bids get placed against me. When I bid (snipe) in the last seconds manually I am pretty lucky in my wins and generally get the item for less than my max bid. So here are the questions.
1: What is the cost?
2: Are they reliabe? any missed bids?
3: If I set up to bid on an auction and then find a better coin can I cancel the snipe prior to launch?
4: Is this against eBay and other auction site rules?
5: Which is your favorite or do you shun them altogether?
6: Do they work to get better deals or am I just lucky in my last second bidding and unlucky at selling?
Thanks for your input!

I use ezsniper.com as I only have time to check ebay about once a week. I think they charge a minimum of 10 cents per snipe or 1% of the value. Very easy to use. Never missed a snipe (although I've lost to higher bidders plenty of times). Yes, you can cancel if there's more than like 5 min left. Good luck!
1: 1% of the realized price*
2: Totally reliable, never missed one bid so far
3: Yes, you can cancel or modify your snipe at any given time as many times as you like.
4: No
5: Auctionsniper
6: I don't think I understand the question. A snipe is a bid placed in the last seconds. If there's a higher bid than yours, wether in a snipe ,or even at the beginning of the auction, highest bid gets the coin.
* PM me your email address and I will invite you to join, this way we both get three free snipes. A good way for you to try them out and judge for yourself.
Also, I do not understand why you hate them as a seller. It's great to watch an item of yours tripling its value during the last seconds. It's very entertaining to click refresh on the auction page a few times during the last minute.

I agree totally with this. I always kick the wife or kids off the computer when it comes to the closing times for my auctions just to watch how the bidding goes at the end.
