<< <i>Folks are out on Fridays, usually home on Sunday nights. Football, basketball, movies etc. >>
Smoe of us are out gettin schnockered up a little too!!
This past week I ended some on Friday night, Saturday (all thru the day & night) Sunday and Monday night, after the Big Houses were done. I did well each night but what really amazed me was Monday evening's results. I had 4 items that did really well ending after Teletrade etc.
It's more of a timing thing than a what day thing. (Again, JMHO)
<< <i>The best night to end your ebay auction is when the right couple of bidders come along.
Fact is, these days it matters hardly at all. There are sellers who end auctions early on weekday mornings that draw very strong realized prices. The number of buyers following your auctions is far more important than ending day or time.

For normal people, Friday night is the night when most people are out either shopping (spending their paycheck) or for entertainment.
That's why the networks schedule their dogs for Friday night, because it has the lowest viewers of the week. (Name one good TV show on Friday)
But coin people aren't normal people, so they are just as a likely (or even more so) to be in front of their PC on Friday night.
However, the best time to end an auction is 1 PM on Mondays
Don't tell anybody, but eBay says their busiest day of the week is....

I like "Reba" on Friday nights. It might not be a great show but I still like it. (so I have low standards for
TV viewing so what?)
"Monk" is pretty good too.
With all of the snipe programs these days I'm not sure the ending time on an auction is really
that important anymore.
That said studies show that more people are at home on Sunday nights than on any other night of the
week so ending an auction then might be a good idea after all.
TV networks like to schedule award shows and the start of mini series and other high rated shows
on that night due to the large number of people who are at home. The Super Bowl of course is always
scheduled for Sunday evening.
