Yes, in fact it is much easier if I take my glasses off, and I have to take them off to see mintmarks. Likewise I have to take them off to read books, but I need them to read the computer screen.
Only if my arms were two feet longer. Guess I'm in the minority. In the early morning and bright sunlight I can read most BU dates, glasses are required after a couploe hours.
Ned was often teased about his poor eye sight. To try and prove otherwise he placed a dime on the floor at a party, and from across the room, shouted "Hey look, there's a dime on the floor over there."
His plan would have worked, but as he went to pick it up, poor Ned didn't see the table in the middle of the room and tripped over it.
