Told him no sale on the 9 non cc GSA's . Also told him Monday of this week that the 85cc PCGS 64 DMPL will have to wait for any consideration untill after the ANR auction this week . He calls today and leaves a voice mail stating the 85cc was shipped by mistake ! image According to " his " description the cion is a real whowzer ! He wants $2400.00 , I am willing to go $1900.00 , whowzer or not . BUT , first matter of buisness is the ANR auction !!! At the very least I will get to see the coin in hand before I ship it back . image

Look to see if that 85-cc is a vam-4 (thick dash under the second 8), hot-50. I have encountered several of them in GSA holders but none of them prooflike.

  • That's way too much for anything that would grade 64DM--unless it's rare Vam as Coxe says. Bowersmerena auction has some DM 85CC's too BTW--

Agreed , I called him a minute ago and told him $1900.00 to $2100.00 tops for a real "whowzer". He said he did not have that much room to play with . Looks like I will be out shipping costs !!

Don't accept the coin and let the post office return it to the dealer.

Thought of this , but the temptation to view the coin described by the dealer as WOW !!! is to strong . image

  • He shipped the coin to you without a confirm that you wanted it?

make him pay for return shipment no matter what.
    COD.

Even $1,900 seems a bit high. Greysheet is only $1,450 ---- maybe they are trading way over sheet, but last time I checked, they were not.

Can't believe that you continue to deal with someone like this......
I wouldn't deal with him....he obviously doesn't pay attention to his customer.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

you don't have to burn the bridge just take a couple of the cross spans out of itimage when you send the coin back he will probably say that he never received it and want his 2400.image Good luck in the ANR auctionsimage

GSA - CC Morgan's go for more that gray sheet in almost EVERY case.

Who said the gray sheet is the bible of coin pricing anyway?
