Can a 1967 sms dime have a sandpapery surface?

Just trying to decide if it is a business strike or sms. It also has some blue toning at the reverse rim.

Need photo of coin. If no photo available just send to one of the members. You will never see it again and that will solve your problem.

IMHO, I think that the 67's have a more satin finish on the reverse on the Business strike issues. The SMS have a more shinny finish in the feilds. The SMS will most likely have close to FB's. The reverse on the B.S. 67's tend to be a little weak. The obverse is hard to differentiate between the B.S. and SMS issues. I would say NO to the SMS having a sandpapery surface, but anything is possible.

I sent in 2 that I picked out of a roll and one was a MS66FB and the other, which was identicle to the first received a MS67/SMS.
