Card shows in New England??

Well seeing that my wife wants to put a new deck on our house, I wont be able to attend the National this year. I live in Mass. and was just wondering if there are any good card shows in the New Engalnd or New York area that are coming up soon. I am really itching to attend one. Getting tired of shopping for cards on this old computer monitor. Any suggestions appreciated!!

Tristar puts on shows all over the country to include NE I believe.

They're not badly organized except for the not so resounding report on the Meadowlands show this weekend.

    But, something to consider.

  • I've went to a pretty good show in Cranston, R.I., last month. There's an OK one in Mansfield every month. If you pick up a copy of the Boston Herald, in the sports page, there are listings near the end of the week of shows and who is signing autographs. I've been chasing the 1958 (all done) and 1957 sets and I've found plenty of dealers and both shows.

Tuff Stuff always has show listings on their site, at www.tuffstuff.com. They're usually pretty inclusive for the Boston area. Nothing beats the Wilmington Shriners show though, but that isn't until November.

I live in Medfield, MA went to this show last year and it had a good mix of new and vintage. If you can handle all the Yankee talk its worth the trip.

Thanks for the input guys. I am definetly going to the Tristar in June. I would also like to check out the Mansfield shows. Approx. how many tables at those shows Pharber?
  • I'm not a biggie into shows. But The room spills out into the corridor. Best I can remember, all four walls of a 250-foot by 250-foot room have tables and about 5 rows of tables across. It was pretty crowded.

Graded, I just booked my hotel room for 6/24 at the Plaza. Let me know where you will be so I can stop by and say hello! I hope that you have better luck at this show. There had better not be any massage tables nearby either! image
  • thanks will do!
