More nice Circulated Barber Halves

Tyler is killing me. There is a really nice bunch of Barber Halves by Tyler and a quite a few others from other folks that have come out of the woodwork on Ebay.

What, do you think we are made of money? All kidding aside, those are some beautiful halves Tyler. I hope to add a couple more to my collection.

Expect to see me add quite a few to my Registry set here in the next few days fellas.

What is Tyler's Ebay name? I love his Barbers. There was a recent thread on pedigrees. I would be proud to have a coin or two from the Arco collection.

Yes, I was just coming down from the high of that last rush Tyler mainlined into our veins-- and WHAM!, another round of absolute sugar!! How much adrenalin can you make? My hat's off to Tyler for his market sense, photo-scanner skills, and suppressing his hoarding gene so as to share some of these beaut's. IMO he deserves every strong bid he gets on his auctions.

    Tyler,

Could you give us a preview of what you have for us? Please? Some of us will need to ask the boss for a raise in our allowances.

    Tyler,

I can hardly wait to see the next round.

If you don't want to post images, maybe you could give a preview of which dates and grades will be in the next Ebay auction. We know all know how great your coins are.

Give us something to whet our appetites.

  • There appears to be a whole lotta nice PCGS, VF and XF Barber halves on Ebay. Looks like multiple seller's too, with Tyler leading the way (as usual) with the real PQ Barber halves. I can only imagine what the better dates will eventually go off for.

Well, maybe I have hyped my last auction a bit much. I have tried to spread out the dates equally to make sure my potential bidders don't run out of cash during any given auction. image

I am still getting some dates decided on:

    All PCGS Graded coins

    1893-S in AU50 (really AU53-55)
    1894 in VF35
    1898-O in VF35
    1901-O in VF35 (VF25-30)
    1914 in XF45

That is all I can think of off the top of my head, I think there are a few others.

PS It's Tyler who is Barber 'barber' doing the blood-letting... directly and it seems now,... indirectly

Coin Lieutenant, are you talking about the current NGC AU55 on Ebay?

As for Tyler's new coins, I will only be making a play on the 93-S. Maybe the 14 if I like the look and if it's better then my current 14.

You guys can fight over the rest of the scraps.

The amount of nice stuff out there is mind boggling. Something for everyone. If the action in the next few weeks doesn't raise the trends prices, then I'll be a monkey's domestic partner.

I like Tylers 1910 but I'll let you have a go at it. I'm also not going to make a play on his 97-S but may on his 96-O depending upon a few things. I still might grab that NGC AU55 1910-P. Pictures are cruddy so I might get it for the right price and be pleasantly surprised.

Don't you have a deck to go swab matey?

For any who are interested, Ebay has Gary Hultman's 1901-S in PCGS VF30 (a very, very difficult coin to find in that grade), a PCGS 1904-P in AU53 (pretty tough as well) and a NGC 1896-S in XF40. The seller for the 1896-S takes money orders only. Bummer.
