Are 8tf Morgans bringing this much?

I recently bought one in decent XF for $34. Tonight, on Ebay, I saw this. Is something going on that I am not getting? Did I get that good of a deal?

Not sure why the coin brought that much. Its a Vam-22...scarce but not an ultra rarity. I haven't seen too many that weren't at least AU. I just sold a raw mint state example on Ebay for about $100 so the person referenced in your auction overpaid (IMO) or I sold mine too cheap

A cleaned VF of an OK variety for double what's it's worth (maybe) if problem-free... My only guess is two people had no idea of what they were doing, because nothing else makes sense.
