<< <i>So A-rod's hit would have just tied the score???? >>
Who knows? Japan might have scored more than just that one run, and the whole game would have taken a different turn. I watched most of this game, and actually missed the controversial play. Much better game than I would have thought.
I cant believe they REVERSED the call. LAME!
<< <i>I went to the WBC game in Anaheim tonight featuring Mexico vs Korea. I really didn't expect that many people but they place was pretty packed! It definitely had a playoff atmosphere to it and the fans were very enthusiastic cheering for their teams. It was great to see and experience. Tomorrow should be exciting with USA vs Korea. >>
That's pretty cool. I'm not for this thing one way or another, but it is growing on me. The US game tonight doesn't start until 10pm est
and why the heck is the usa not on tv tonite? that sux!
<< <i>I just saw the replay - it definitely looked like the japanese dude tagged up and scored. >>
I posted on this in the "Open Forum" when I got home that night. Replay after replay here in Japan on all the stations. They got robbed okay.
But now they got a bit of luck going their way with the elimination of Team U. S. of A.
Well, 1 out now and they have a guy on 2nd.
Uh oh, two-base hit and now it's 3-zero.
Word guard gave me a hard time with that Japanese name up there.

Carol, David, SM1, you guys really need to get that "Can't Edit Twice" trouble fixed. Why tell us to back click and fix the word if your program won't let us post the message anyway? It's really frustrating, folks. Really!!
.
4 to nothing -- still the 7th.
.
And additional credit might be given to Manager Oh for changing the lineup a bit before tonight's game. Ichiro Suzuki doesn't get moved out of the leadoff spot too often.
Thiggy turn off that rain there in San Diego!!
Does Thiggy ever come here to the Sports forum? Maybe not.
.
It seems like almost all of these games are very low scoring - I guess that makes sense since pitchers have an advantage when the batter isn't familiar with them.
<< <i>I got a glimpse of this game on the ocho.

Well, Tamura just hit a homerun in the top of the 8th and it's now 6-0. Maybe Thiggy should keep that faucet on. It's getting pretty wet looking on that field.
But yes, iamthegreatcornholio, you are correct. Been a lot of low scoring games. It's the pitching -- the best from each country. Well, in most cases, when the "best" were allowed to play.
Uh oh, looks like a halt in the game right now.
Back at y'all later.
THIGGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TURN OFF THAT WATER, WILL YA? YOUR YARD IS WELL WATERED ALREADY, YES?
