Of course, I am a coin collector and the mother of 2 boys that I sincerely hope do not discover guitars until they have moved out of my house.
Maybe sell a bunch (here, at reduced prices of course), but keep enough so if you change your mind you don't regret selling the really tough ones. Just remember to give me dibs on any gold naked men on horses you might still have lying around.
I thought you hadn't been around as much lately...
Well... a matte proof double sovereign would be nice....
You know, St. George! The naked guy. On the horse .
Oh, and buy what you like!!!!!
edited to add...or the 5 pounder would be nice. Heck I'd settle for a regular sovereign too. I might have to sell my collection of Home Depot stock though.
Ooo that's interesting. I have a bronze/copper with the same Wyon obverse but the reverse is a different. Like this silver one. Hmm. A pm will be on the way.
oops. those are both the obverse for the silver one...I'm looking for a pix of the reverse.....
Okay, another edit...here is the other one. I think.
Guitars are an awesome venue. Almost dabbled in it myself a year ago. Had the chance to buy a Gibson model 18? Ended up selling for over 2500, and that was still a great deal.
Collecting cleaned, scratched, scraped, AT and ugly POS coins for over 2 years now!

<< <i>$25 for 3 picks is a little pricey. Besides I can get some for melt and make my own. >>
I agree, but they do have a very distinct sound. At least on an acoustic guitar, which is all I play.

I have been around but due to personal stuff and the strike at work I have not had much to contribute to the darkside lately.
