Can someone explain this to me?

This Heritage lot sold for about 4 times more than these usually bring in comparable grade.

Why?

does the term : "stupid money" ring a bell ? Or,... could it be the market on them is heating up ?

Although I'm not familiar with the issue, I would say that looks VERY nice for a 63. I also love the smooth even coloration.

Are there really that many available? image

Well if you review the Heritage archives you'll see that they do trade every once in while. Though there has not been a nice one in a little while, so perhaps this is evidence of substantial pent up demand.

Two wealthy collectors both wanted that coin very badly. Happens quite frequently.

I've got two in circulated grades image Tried to sell one of them here for a while with no luck. Although I think they Heritage one has a different edge than mine.

The Heritage coin's edge is the most common edge.
