I'm just curious what was this forums inaugural date, and who were the first five or so members?

I believe it's Feb 2001, and those who joined at that time from the old site are the first ones.

I was the first member on the old site, but there was nobody else so I left.

I just got here last year Dizzyfoxx, so I can only speak for me.

I'm still waitin for Carol to tell me to tone it down , or maybe an email from David asking me to apply for a seat on the board to lighten up the place image

A bunch of people joined the first day since we had come over from the old message board. The person who signed up the earliest that is still here is beartracks42 (2/22/01, 9:43 PM) who has memberid 11. No doubt there are people who were on the old board even longer before coming over to the new boards, and have technically been using the PCGS message boards longer, but there's no way to look that up.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
