i was given this watch by a realy great friend about 15 yrs ago. i was just wonderibg if you can tell by looking at it if it is a real $20 gold piece.

There are some watches that are made out of genuine $20 gold pieces but that isn't one of them.

First glance, the look is wrong (satin smooth and mark free), then second glance the design is wrong too.
