any compass collectors ??

i remember finding a copper or brass compass years ago at an old shcool, about the size of a quarter and about 3/4 thick, made by a company in michigan. anyone familiar with such a thing ? BTW i cleaned all the dirt out of it and it still works !

I have found some of the little cheap ones, but none of them would work...Pretty neat find..

the next time i find it i will scan it, the only time i can find it is when im not looking for it. im not sure how to post pics here.
