Cheerios Sac dollar question....

What's the chances of finding one of these 5,500 special 2000-P Sac dollars in circulation?
I know they were only released through Cheerios and my hunch is that some kids found these and spent them soon after getting them in their cereal boxes.
So, has anyone ever searched for these special Sac dollars and ever found one in circulation?
Just curious.

I made the mistake of telling the tellers why I want the 50¢(silver) coins....................prior to me telling I would get one every now and then, no I don't get nunya.
When I get back from Kauai, leaving in the morning for 10 days, I'll be going through them to see what I can find.
So my odds are pretty slim, we'll see.

I dont necessarily agree with that since these coins don't see a whole lot circulation. They do discolor, but very few wear to the point that they would be undistinguishable. Of the many rolls I've looked at, it was very easy to tell that they were not the Cheerios Sac!
The name is LEE!
I have 2 different figures from different sources.......Red Book says 3.08 mil......other source says 2.5.......?????????
This assumes that 5,000 (of the 5,500) Cheerios Sac's are in circulation and 1.5 billion regular mintage Sac's (approx. mintage of 2000 & 2001).
Sac's after 2001 were not released for circulation.
If only 2,500 were spent the odds change to 1 in 600,000 and they only get worse from there.
<< <i>I didn't realize that these coins were different until I looked into it a minute ago. All of the images I found, howver, were obverse only. Does anyone have a picture of the cheerios reverse? >>
