New Arrivals and Pics, Mar. 11, 2006.

There were a couple of slabbed coins I simply wasn't able to capture after fighting with them forever... slabs suck. image

Most of these new arrivals are probably keepers as opposed to resale.

Mexico 1 Peso, 1871 MoM.

Panama 2.5 Centavos, 1916.

Greece Drachma, 1910.

Brazil 2000 Reis, 1913.

British West Africa Penny, 1936KN. NGC MS66. Couldn't capture this one real well... looks much nicer in person.

Germany 2 Pfennig, 1876C.

Austria 6 Kreuzer, 1684.

Canada Dollar, 1939. Bizarre toning...

Peru 1/2 Real, 1858MB. Lovely detail on this tiny piece.

Belgian Congo 5 Cents, 1887. NGC MS65BN. Even lovelier than I anticipated. Wonderful purple-brown color...

Peru Dinero, 1905. My favorite coin of the bunch! These are dirt cheap, but can be found in absolutely gorgeous condition. The pictures don't do the coin justice as it has wonderful frosting on the devices and prooflike mirrors. A very bright and flashy coin!

I like the 2 pfennig, not very common with that mintmark and grade. It is an equal to mine, However I really like the Austrian 6 Kreuzer... It is a sweet coin and I would love to add it to my coollection.

You said most... Is this one available to trade/sell/giveaway? image JUst kidding on the last one... I am however interested in the coin. If you decide to part company please let me know. I would like to have an example as nice as that for my type set.

    Thanks and great finds!

The Drachma design is one of my favorites...the one I have is definitely in my top 10 favorite coins (I got it from some dude in Greece image).

  • Imaging through slabs is painful, but these are nice shots and coins...... image

Yeah, but in fairness you're only seeing the ones I was able to ultimately get even close to presentable... there's two other slabs sitting here in front of me that I didn't want to embarrass either myself or the coins by posting the dreck I was able to come up with. image

    Nice AU. image

Those are much harder to find in high grade than the 500 and 1000 reis. I have a PCGS MS66, one of only two, and the highest one I've seen from NGC is a 64.
