There are a remarkable number of buy ads in the 3-20 Coin World for moderns. Even those
which don't specifically state what coins they want are mostly modern buyers.
I've never seen anything even approaching this in the past. Much of this is an evolutionary
process but this represents a major spike.
Does anyone think we'll see a market move finally?

I think with every major market there's rises and falls, whether or not people want to acknoledge it or not, Moderns are quite a major market. As such, I'm still inclined to believe that it's a welcome "bump" in the road in the evolution of the modern market.

Obviously you're right except for two little things. One is that most raw moderns have
never had a real advance. You can still buy a '70-D BU dime roll for $7 if you can find one,
you just can't find one. The second is that moderns never comprised more than a few of
these ads before and now it's pervasive.
On some level you must be right but I'm not sure what one should be selling. Perhaps
pop tops or some specific coin. I certainly wouldn't be selling any raw moderns right now.
I'm not sure what's going on but it looks like something must be.

I wish. We'd know who to thank but the lead time for publication is too long for it to be That thread.
