They're nice looking coins, but you probably won't find them in Krause because these aren't official issues.
The Cocos-Keelings are an Australian territory and use Australian currency. Plastic tokens were issued for the islands by the hereditary owning family in 1913 and 1968 and a "real coin" issue was released in 1977; all these can be found in Krause. However, the island's status changed from protectorate to territory in 1978.
In 2004, these coins were marketed as having been issued under the authority of the shire council of the islands. Unfortunately, shire councils have no authority to authorise legal tender. At best, these have the same status as the "tourist dollars" you can find, issued by many North American (particularly Canadian) cities, towns and counties.
I understand these are the product of one of the big corporate mints, trying to cash in on the huge popularity of the previous series of coins and tokens here in Australia.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one. Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"
Also even though the book is 2005 you will find that there is a lot of material from 2000 on that still isn't in the book. Heck I have stuff from the mid 1990's which still isn't listed.
