This guy found an 1885 Trade Dollar in an old mayonnaise jar when re-modeling his house. Only 5 1885 Trade Dollars were minted (all proofs) and the going price should be about $1 million. However, you can bid on this one starting at only $60.00. Get it here

I think it was a pickle jar.

I'm surprised too, that he didn't give fractions of inch measurements about EXACTLY WHERE Between the lath and the 2x4 that it actually was. And also if there were 8-penny nails used on the exterior walls.
Does the above sound as though it was written by someone who speaks English on a daily basis?
BTW - I'm not Relayer, although I have owned a Yes album or two in my time.

Actually I didn't even read the ad text, just stev32k's synapsis and looked at the pictures to see it was fake.
Since most fake Trade Dollars come from China and stev32k mentioned mayonnaise, I put the two together and ... oh well, never mind.

now THATS funny stuff.
Shame, shame. Five 1885 trade dollars were made - all proofs. This is a chinese copy. Do you really think the buyer won't figure this out and realize the story about you finding them is bunk? This is a good way to get suspended from ebay.
