Why does E-bay let a seller continue with his lies

Just one of many false claims

this guy has no graded cards yet E-bay does not do anything about his spam auction. judging from his normal body temperature feedback he is not going to winner the seller of the year award.

They let This guy do it too. I've complained twice and no reply. He doesn't list PSA BGS BVG 10 any more but he lists the cards under graded. It ruins a search when you have to wade thru 50 POS cards to find one you want.

His feedback is better than mine. I have 8 negs/450 positives, 6 of my 8 negs are retaliatory from non-payers. Looks like I'm bad at only 98.3%. I hate ebay

Big difference between making a claim and giving an opinion. His opinion is that these cards are "PSA 6 TO PSA 8 Quality". If you see in the Title--PSA/BVG/GAI/SGC--it pretty much tells me they are giving you their opinion already. Typically i just bypass those auctions anyways. What is misleading are the people on Ebay that have this in their Title--" 1965 Topps Koufax NM/MT PSA 8",and then when you click on the auction the card is ungraded. Not only did they give you their opinion in the Title, but they also mislead you. That is as illegal as it gets. Yet daily this goes on, on ebay.

ebay doesn't care or have the staff to monitor all auctions. I agree it's BS, but we have to just not buy from these people.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I always thought keyword spamming (which the first auction is guilty of) was something that Ebay actually removed auctions for. There is a way to report the auctions, if you look through Ebay's help desk.

    Guys,

we have reported stuff to ebay before and they did take down auctions. We just cant win all the time. I think it would help if more people complained about a seller. Show us links of crooked sellers and tell us which ebay email to use and we can forward each our own complaint. hopefully that will help. We have been successful in the past---and I recall the successes were usually preceded by a bunch of us just dog piling away and getting involved. There is strength in numbers.

While none of us would get ripped off by such sellers since we can see right through their scam, its the newbie you want to protect. We need newbies in the hobby and make sure their experiences are pleasant so that they don't get turned off right away.
