Finally.............. Rant enclosed .........

It took several trips back and forth from New England to Florida, then to Ohio, then Indiana, then Ohio, then God Knows Where, then back to Ohio, then back home in Indiana......... I originally submitted this coin to ANACS at the FUN show on January 6th, for 5 day service........... 3-4 WEEKS later, it shows up here in an ANACS "bodybag", unencapsulated, tagged "questionable authenticity"........ Well I knew damn well the coin was authentic........ 2 of the most respected collector/dealers in seated material looked at it prior to purchase and deemed it authentic as well as myself.......... Yet ANACS saw fit to question it........ So I called JT and asked if the graders actually thought it was a fake, or if they were just inexperienced in this piece, or if ANACS just wasn't willing to accept liability if they deemed the piece authentic and holdered it. JT said to ship it back........ So on February 22nd, it went back to Ohio........ It disappeared into the "black hole" of the system, and was spit out by my mailman today as you see it here.......... I've got 15 mis-attributed/ mis-holdered pieces that are heading to ANACS next week.......... Yeah......... a new day........... right........... Sorry, JT, but it's getting WORSE, not better........... The new slabs aren't garnering any converts.......... The CUSTOMER SERVICE has no where to go but UP (Traci, you've got your work cut out for you there), the people answering the phones are simpletons, orders are getting screwed up........... messages are not being delivered / relayed......... and now you're packing it all up and taking it to Texas........... Good Luck with that............. My coins will NEVER see Texas........... PROMISE............. I used to be a staunch supporter af ANACS......... not now, not likely again.

I've picked one grading service and one grading service only to submit coins to. That's PCGS. A lot of ANACS problems seemed to pop up before the announced move to Texas. Where in Texas anyway? It's hot as hell and humid here in the summer. I would have picked Boulder City NV where there isn't any humidity

Wasn't it struck from corroded dies. Perhaps this is where they came up with "Corroded"?
