To add insult to injury, of the 37 coins submitted, 15 HAVE TO GO BACK due to mis-attributions / wrong holders / etc.........

Did I mention that I'm now an authorized Dealer for NGC ???????

ANACS economy has always been frightfully slow. Indeed, your two month wait is historically fast -- waits as long a four months were not uncommon in years past. Coupled with their move, new holders, and general change of everything, and I think you made out OK.

I am concerned about the misattributions, and like wam98 would like some elaboration on that, if you don't mind.

As sad as this is, that story actually gives me some hope. I'd become worried that my dollar that I sent to be slabbed hasn't been heard from in a couple of weeks. Maybe all is not lost...

what do you think of the new holders LTC?

are any of them cracked from shipping?

Coins that were submitted for VP (variety Plus) service where I listed the proper WB (seated Half) attribution # came back with different WB #'s noted on the slab........ These aren't microscopic varieties......... a 5X loupe is usually all thats needed........ Plus, They TOTALLY ignored the fact that one page of the submission was VERY CLEARLY marked "CLASSIC HOLDERS ONLY", and put 14 of 17 in the new holders (which I think are cheap looking / feeling) when I wanted the old style for continuity with my seated half set. They also returned a coin in an NGC 55 holder claiming "no minimum grade selected"......... OK, I forgot this on the form........ someone called me from ANACS and I said to "cross at any grade"......... Nope........ no crossover............ If you want to read my ANACS rant, see the other thread......... right now, I'm flustergated with IDIOTS !!!!

I, too have had SERIOUS problems with proper variety attribution. The order I have out will determine whether they have lost a customer. One more screw up and no more ANACS for me. And, I realize and take into consideration the move and attendant confusion.

My last anacs submission took around 10 weeks and the fax back of the grades was sent after I got the coins back, they also mis atributed one coin as well, I hope that anacs gets things back in order soon.

I had high hopes for the "New" ANACS. I was hoping they'd give the big boys a real run for their money. But they've let me down on three out of three submissions so far. I have a feeling it will be four out of four soon. I may try to have a talk with Mr Taylor at the CSNS show coming up in Columbus about these problems-I'd like to give ANACS every opportunity to get it right. But I'm tired of wasting my time and money on this stuff.
