Boy! Steve Hart, The Baseball Card Exchange hit the PSA Lottery with this beauty!
1971 Topps #400 Hank Aaron PSA GEM MINT 10
A heads-up: For all u 1962 Cival War News folks (...as if you don't already know about these cards! ). BBCexchange is auctioning a whole bunch of "high end" PSA 8's & 9's! ...of these highly collectible non-sports cards! They look so good I thought of "salting away" a few of them myself, but I'll leave them to the "PSA set collectors" that are, or will be bidding on them!
Here is just (2) nice examples of BBCexchange's Civil War News items up for auction on ebay:
1 --- 1962 Topps Civil War News #88 Checklist PSA 8
2 --- 1962 Topps Civil War News #1 The Angry Man PSA 8
edit: Many think of BBCexchange just as a "wax box" seller. He markets some pretty nice singles too! (...he does have some pretty nice '60's! and '70's PSA stuff up for sale right now, "as we speak"!!)

(1) Where does he FIND all this unopened vintage stuff?
(2) How in the world does he managed to keep it unopened? If it were me, it wouldn't even make it back home unopened. That takes some discipline.
The other thing that amazes me is how much knowledge he must have to ensure that the stuff he's buying is truly unopened and not tampered with.

It comes with being in business for a long time and building a reputation along with contacts.

I spoke to him via email a couple of years ago about this. The simple answer is that it's a business and that he doesn't look at it the same way we do.
i ordered a box of 1980 topps opc for the helluva it last week. i saw posts here the day after his inventory was posted so i called him inquiring about some 1980 topps rack packs he had newly listed. he said the 2 cases got gobbled up the very day he listed them in his inventory!
dam gina baby!

Right on Brian
I have unopened material.
Let's say I needed dough and wanted to unload a vending case of 82 or 79 and some wax and rack boxes.
I can sell it on ebay - and put up with the possible risk of getting screwed or I can sell it to BBCEx or BBCKid.
They do not make the "typical" return on their investment and actually give you a pretty good price on some stuff.
It's based on trust - and in our small world - I'm willing to bet if I shrink wrapped 24 vending boxes of 79T and offered it here for a fair price, it would sell out eventually.
And opening? I have never opened any of the stuff I have picked up and I have wax back to 76 and vending back to 79. I bought it with the intention of selling some day and opening it just wouldn't be a good idea.

I always think of B.I.G. - "Never get high on your own supply".

I think it was only last week that he had about $10 k worth of vintage racks on his homepage (incl 71 Topps w/ Rose on the front). For most dealers, that'd be the highlight of their inventory. Check out the football packs he's got now.
<< <i>That actually seems like a cheap price! What is the pop? can't be more than 5 can it? >>
It's 3.
