I want to sell this indian on ebay, and i would like some opinions on what the grade is.
For me gold indians are so hard to grade.

You could probably check the label.

As for grade, it looks nice, but the images are a little small.

Yeah, blow up the images and check the label.
Have somebody check the D mintmark to make sure it's not bogus. Also, this coin has a polished look to it.
If it's authentic and hasn't been cleaned, it has a lot of detail. Very possibly MS60-62.

See the indented line all the way around the edge on both sides? That's what a jewelry or keychain bezel will do.

However, often that is an indication of the die breaking. Especially on the incuse gold....in this case it is almost too much though.
The picture it is difficult to tell but the luster (oddly) looks natural....it might be a very good fake (counterfeit).

That indented line is indicative of die erosion on a late die state struck coin. I don't see any evidence of jewelry use from the pics but it may look differnt in hand.

My mind reader refuses to charge me....
The coin scares me, but if you want to sell it on eBay without somebody knocking on your door, you should send it to ANACS first.

You see....I thought the same thing. Especially after I saw those examples you had.....

If you want to sell it on E-bay the best thing you can do is send it to ANACS as they will put it in a slab and attribute the problems. If it is not authentic they will just send it back and it is only worth the melt price of the gold. If it is authentic you can probably get anywhere between $125-$175 on e-bay.
Just my 2 cents.
