The post office yelled at me for mailing a 1964 proof set

I used eBay/PayPal's label printing software to ship a 1964 proof set in a 4"x6" padded envelope.
Because I didn't put in any padding to make it thicker (I didn't want to spend 24c extra), they mailed me a scan of the label.
But - I looked up the DC# and it shows delivered

You got the warning, the person you sent the proof set too may still have been hit with a postage due charge. In which case he may not be thinking too highly of you right now.

I'm sure there's a very valid reason for a package to be 3/4" thick to qualify for delivery confirmation....
Yeah right!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
That's the feds for you. A thinner package is more money to ship, go figure.

What a crock of ! If this is how the postal service is going to act, then the next time these lazy, overpaid pinheads want a stamp increase, we, the PEOPLE, need to tell them NO, NO, AND NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure. They want to force you to use Priority.

The thickness will keep it out of the maching process of sorting/cancelling for envelopes and puts it into package services.
