Which year is right? 2003 or 2004?

I just bought a 2003 Jessica Lynch signed ms 69 pcgs Silver Eahle with cert. of auth on EBAY.

But when I went to the pcgs site it only lists a 2004 Jessica Lynch signed Silver Eagle.

Did I get screwed? Was this coin produced 2 years?

Mine cost $30 the 2004 is selling for close to $80?

If you have any input please reply?

In 2003 and 2004 she signed business strikes.

In 2003 she signed proofs as well.

I like Silver Eagles, and I knew the story/history of Jessica Lynch behind the coin, so I thought it was a good choice.

From what I gather, there were more coins signed in 2003 model, and many less in 2004. I got the 2003 because it was first, and came with an extra bonus coin that the other auction did not have. And of course it was $40 some dollars cheaper.

I may go back and add the 2004 coin also, maybe wait for a better price.

I am in the midst of reading some books that were suggested to me from this forum so hopefully they will help me decide as to what is and what is not a good choice.
