Is it just me or does Pudge has some of the greatest looking cards from the '70s?

That '77 Topps card might be my favorite card of the '70s, but I also love the '76 and the '79. Anyone have any scans they can share?

Hmmm. Interesting point. Fisk does seem to have some of the best photos from the period. I wonder why.

Anybody know any Topps photographers? I'd love to pepper them with questions...

He was a gritty guy who played hard. Despite playing for Boston (Yanks fan here), I liked him. On the other hand, I saw him at a golf tourney about 4 years ago and he was "less than" cordial when it came to autograph requests.

He has probably been hounded for auto's for years now. That probably gets annoying. Seemed like a cool player with the White Sox, I don't recall him in a Red Sox uni, showing my age here I guess. lol
