Super Question!! Am I a Dealer Because I Sell Coins And Stuff On Ebay/Teletrade?

Hi Crew Members, I remember this guy named captain 20 when I was 10 years old about 36 years ago. Captain 20 always said, If you join a club and trade prizes and Stuff among your friends you are a dealer, I still have my Captain 20 club card, I once won a chess set and 2 tickets to a baseball game when I was 12, I had to pick a rat in a race. The rats were named, Spiderman, Batman, The Green Hornet, and my rat that won the race was named Bozo the Clown.

Well after selling coins, sporting events tickets, etc,etc, does this mean I'm a dealer of some sort? I know I don't have papers stating that I belong to a coin club, but help me feel better of what I do. Maybe I'm a flipper, buy stuff and resell for profit. Ty G

If you sell regularly and buy with the intent to sell, yes.

No, I would not call you a dealer. I would consider a dealer as a person who earns a significant part of his income from buying and selling.

Never-the-less, it is important for all collectors to at least try to sell some of their coins, if nothing else, for the experience.
