Of all the type sets listed in the Set Registry, which set does the Dansco #7070 cover. I'm not doing a registry set but a F-AU set for the Dansco. Trying to figure out which coins I need to watch for before my album gets here in the mail. Thanks. Give me the set title from the set registry for the Dansco Type Set.

I'm not sure any of the PCGS Registry sets match up with a 7070

That's pretty close, not exact though. You get the general idea.

Great link!
Please note that the 7070 does not standardly come with holes for the gold listed in the above thread. You need to purchase the gold page separately.
Take care...Mike

plus it helps to have some coins in it , too
TYPE set is exactly what it states.... EVERY TYPE COIN by the UNITED STATES MINT... it covers them all, doesn't it ? Oooops, Dansco needs to upgrade for bi-metallic and plats. and Baley, that is one fine looking set you got there

Nope. There is at least one commonly available type not included in the 7070 (not counting SQs or WWJ nickels). You probably have it in your pocket right now.
Not in my pocket, I don't carry change.

<< <i>The Zinc cents maybe? >>
Either Zincolns or Bronze Memorial cents. By including steel cents, Dansco acknowledges that a metal change warrants a separate type. Not having separate slots for Bronze and Zinc Memorial cents is inconsistent.
However, they (dansco) had to make some decisions, and I think they made good ones (I collect those other types outside of this album)
And NO, I do not feel any burning need to add a zinc cent, nor try to "keep up" with modern issues like the various Jefferson nickels.
I consider the album an excellent survey of US coinage types 1800-2000 and leave it at that (except for the occasional upgrade )
Thanks, yes, that's my set
