Kobe Bryant

What are peoples thoughts on Kobe? Is he just a baby who is pampered by the Lakers? A gunner who has no passing abilities on a team coached by an equally overrated human, the mercenary Phil Jackson? A chump who can't even get his team into the playoffs without the big guy.

    Possibly one of the most determined athletes since Jordan, but without the charisma to elevate the other players around him by his actions. People watched Jordan's sheer dominance and determination and it infected them to play better and to join him. People watch Kobe and admire his will, but never get the feeling that they can be a part of it. Or to put it another way, Kobe has the scowl, but not the smile. Jordan had both and that's what made him the greatest.

    Kobe is sheer basketball talent, but has demonstrated that he does not have the leadership or interpersonal skills to run a team to championships. He has influenced his way out of Championship Status. What else needs to be said? Regards...
    Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

    That's probably the best comparison of Kobe and Jordan I have ever seen. Good job.
