Lost or stolen PCGS COIN in Mail.

Not a expensive coin, but I'm on a budget. It was insured.
If anyone see this give me a shout. Thanks

How long has it been lost? I sent someone a priority mail package once and it took a month but they did finally get it.

Looks like you are from MN? If so, I wonder if the dealers at the Northwest Coin Show can be told? It is a 3-day coin show next week. And I would think a good place to try and unload stolen coins.

  • any tracking or delivery confirmation on the coin? how was it shipped?
  • The following invoice # 9045966 is also currently "lost/stolen" and is being investigated by Postal Authorities. It was shipped to me on 2-14-06 and is MIA. PCGS is aware of it. I don't have images, but jot down the slab numbers if anyone is stupid enough to try and pass them still in the slabs. Thanks, CCG

I just got insured mail delivered from OHIO and it was postmarked and insured the FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. Full two months in the postal system. I asked the carrier how these things happen and he shrugged his shoulders. image

    Patience.
    Have a nice day
  • A seller had mailed me an item on Dec 20, 2005 and I didn't get it until March 3, 2006. It had a signature required sticker on it too.
The USPO said it had been signed for and delivered on Dec 24, 2005. To make it even more interesting the seller only lived about 20 miles away too. When it did finally arrive, the package was in perfect pristine shape, so it didn't get stuck in a sorting machine or anything.
