2006 Topps Mantle HR #1 card

What is the story with this card? I have purchased 6 packs and gotten this card in 4 of the packs. Is the Mantle HR #1 card the only Mantle HR card? I see the odds of pulling a Mantle HR card are 1:4. If the only Mantle HR card is HR #1 then that seems a little obnoxious getting the same card in roughly every four packs.

    I couldn't agree more!!

    There are other Mantle inserts, but only one Mantle HR card, card #1.

    I opened two 36 count hobby boxes and got 21 Mantle HR #1 cards.

    At least the Bonds HR cards have different numbers on them.

    i bought 1 retail 9.99 box and got 2 of them.. i also got Bonds #666.. image

    Maybe Topps is putting out 1 Mantle HR card per year, so it will only take us 535 more years to complete the set.image
