1966 Historic basketball ticket stub - Need Help !!!

On March 19, 1966, Texas Western College (now the University of Texas at El Paso) started -- for the first time in NCAA basketball championship history -- five black players against an all-white Kentucky team at Cole Field house in College Park, Maryland. In a game that has come to represent a breakthrough for blacks in college sports, the Miners of Texas Western defeated the Wildcats for the championship. A movie, "Glory Road," based on the 1966 team, was released nationwide this past January 2006. I recently acquired the ticket stub from this historic game. It measures about 2” x 4” and seems to be a complete ticket stub.

Anyone know what it goes for ?????

Thanks.

Sounds like something that would be rarely traded and would show up in a catalogue auction like Mastro.

I agree, if you want to sell the ticket you'd be best served by consigning to a major auction house. The value could be in the $100s, could be over $1000. My VERY rough guess it would likely sell for $600-900.

Sorry, just reread your post...if the ticket is complete it (untorn, both halves intact). would probably bring much more.

Also, NOW would be the best time to sell, while the event (thanks to the movie) is fresh in peoples minds.
