Things are starting to come together with this camera... (large images)

I'm getting to the point where I feel like I'm starting to take decent coin pictures, but I realize I have a lot to learn. These particular images are easily the best I've ever produced, but are a bit dark. I'm working with a Nikon Coolpix 5700, a copy stand and two desk lamps with 100 watt Reveal Bulbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you change the white balance between pics ??
Also, the focus on the second pic seems a bit off.
Practice, practice, practice, I'm all the time playing around with my lighting (as seen here, trying out some florescent bulbs, that I won't be using again),
and I've been practicing for 3 years now..
I will get it right one of these days.
Just my zwei pfennigs worth.
