Can't help from smiling knowing they are on the same US team who that choked against Canada. Spending so much time together the next few weeks I wonder if they kissed and made up. To be a fly on their locker room wall.....

    Rip, very cute photo. Awesome.

    ARod is not my favorite Yankee. There is just something about the guy that seems so put on and insincere.

    Speaking of Arod, I can't believe such a big fuss was made about him and Phil Hellmuth playing poker together. Sure it was "illegal" underground clubs, but it would have been perfectly acceptable in any casino in the country. What's the difference? People act like playing some cards is the equivelent of shooting up drugs. People need to not worry so much about what other people do with their money.

    Arod came on TV saying what a mistake it was. What a bunch of crap. If he and Hellmuth would have been playing at the Bellagio in Vegas, it would have run on Sportscenter as "Arod getting out and having some fun". The same people giving him crap are dropping hundreds of dollars on a 1 in ten million shot on their state lotteries. This country is full of hypocrites.

    People playing at those clubs are doing nothing illegal whatsoever. If the club is run for a profit, then the owners/operators of said clubs would be the ones in trouble.

    Why Spammy has a problem with Arod when he's BY FAR the best player on that team is beyond me.

    Did anyone notice if Varitek gave ARod a big kiss during the congratulations scrum which ensued after ARod got the game winning hit? Boy, I thought ARod was going to choke again after he struck out his previous time at bat.

    Wow, did the Japanses team ever get screwed.
