Should I certify a collection?

Mr. Hall;

I just completed a Washington collection in a nice Dansco Album, the business strikes and proofs only. When I was doing it, I felt I should collect all the proofs, which are not contained in the album. I did that starting with the 1936 proof.

My question is, starting back from 1936 to the proof only (I'm not sure what that means) should I get them certified? I would feel more confortable with your designation on them, especially if this set would ever need to be passed down to my family.

And if so, which catagory of your service would I need to join? I paid $1,200 for the 1936 proof. The rest were less. I am in no hurry.

    Hi Tade,

    I feel coins that are worth more than $100 should be certified. Less than $100 coins are a personal decision you need to make depending on how much you want the holder.

    Thanks,

    David
