Who's The Real Single Season Home Run King? Maris? Maybe We Ought To Be Buying!

Since the allegations about Barry Bonds this week (and all of last year), and since McGwire is suspicious, is Roger Maris still the single season home run king (at least in your mind)? If you look at Roger Maris cards, they still sell well. I kind of have a theory that since all of the heat is going to continue to be on Bonds and McGwire for years and years, that maybe people will start paying more attention to Maris and what he did in 1961. I think maybe Maris would be a good buy as far as an investment. What do you think?

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!
Greatest teams ever assembled will hold his prices intact.I do not believe that they are cards that will soar in value anytime soon
if at all but they are still great cards to own IMO.

I just thought the same thing as he stroked a double in the WBC today.

I can see me in 25 years directing a movie about Griffey's rise and then fall into the shadows of Mac and Bonds only to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes as the only one who actually said "No" to steroids. It will be the 61* film of its day.

Had to be the death threats.
The better buy would be 1970's and 1980's sluggers that are in the 400-500 range.
