Came across this image of a broadstruck Peace Dollar on the "Broken CC" website.........

Where did the denticles come from ?????? Regular Peace Dollars don't have 'em image

    Yep, that the collar impression, the planchet sliding on over the collar. IMO.

    I love it. Did you buy it? What year? It looks like a B2 reverse

    Just called, Not For Sale,

    What would be a fair offer for such a coin if one like it would turn up?

    I might be able to scrape up 5000 or so but I bet that would be a $14,000 Peace Dollar image or more,
    Whatcha think?

    Possibly struck once normally, so that it received edge reeding, and then broadstruck after failing to eject properly?

    They've had these for some time..... tried to buy them about 3-4 years ago.... I think the no collar helped in the "denticles" you see.....
