Got a PSA Submission/Holder Quality Control Question

Hi all,

I went to the post office yesterday to pick up my recent submission (10 cards) to PSA. I was happy with the grades,
but the quality control aspect was unacceptable in my book. Come on PSA !!!.

One holder (1982 Fleer Ripken PSA 9) had major greasy finger prints all over (inside the plastic) it. Two
other holders (both 1987 Fleer Bonds PSA 8) were scratched (not minor) and very visible and long lines.

I haven't called PSA and was wondering what recourse do I have. Will they pay for the shipping to/from
if I decide to have the holders fixed? Also, will they charge me again for the reholder request?

Your input is appreciated. Man, this is not fun.

I'd doubt they would pay for shipping to them...but i believe they would reholder and ship at no extra cost to you.
Of course, customer service has to be your next call.

That brings up a point I had too. I won an card off Ebay and the holder is off slighly side to side. Top to bottom it is lined up ok, but side to side the holder was sealed so that the bottom half is slighty off. Was wondering if anyone had this type an issue with their holders??
