Opened 1993 SP Football

I got a 1993 SP Fooball box in the mail today and of course had to open it. Three Drew Bledsoe's! On closer inspection likely a 7 and two 8's, this is a tough foil card. Also got one pack of 1989 Score and got a nice Aikman that is a possible 9. I think I will send all four to PSA for grading.imageimageimageimage

Those foil SPs are tough - congrats on some nice pulls.

You will laugh but I spent a billion dollars trying to pull a Natrone Means! I don't think I ever got one? I seriously think it was Short printed?

Nice pulls, man those foils are tough to get in good shape.

    The Aikman looks good!

  • Sorry for the jumbled scans, still learning the ropes. I looked through my box and no Natrone Means, you may be on to something. John

    Sorry! image

Were most of your cards stuck together? I opened 2 boxes and they both had this issue. I did pull the #2 card (Foil RC) and it graded PSA 9 - 1/1.

I like the Bledsoe - I remember when this stuff went thru the roof!

    Congrats on getting 3 Bledsoes!

And, I think you set the record for the largest screen! image

The Troy looks darn near perfect!

    Hello,
How did the Bettis Foils look?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Edit: If you don't mind me asking, how much for the box? I was at the Ft. Washington show last Saturday, and I was quoted a price of $99, which I thought was high.
  • Mark, I paid $90 for the box at Baseball Card Exchange, $97 with shipping so the $99 is not bad IMO. Tuff Stuff list the box at $140 and BBCE is usually about what Tuff Stuff is so I think it was a good deal.

The Bettis #6 looks good except for the two bottom corners. Probably would get a PSA 7.

That would be greatly appreciated. Can you turn on your PM so I (and others) can send you private messages?
    Many thanks,
