Cherry picked a 1943/2 Jefferson today.

I was building a computer at the local shop today, so I decided to go through some rolls he had sitting there. I found a real nice 1943/2 in a roll of uncirculated war nickels. Coin isn't full step, but is a nice bright coin. I now have one of the ten I need for my free Jefferson submission. This would mean I have found 2 of the varieties in my Jefferson set. Much more satisfying than picking them up on ebay.

Nothing beats a cherrypick like that! Very well done! image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • Cool pickup! There can't be very many left, just waiting to be found like that one!

Wow! It's a very tough coin in unc and probably underappreciated.

woo woo... those are one of my favorite Jefferson variety dates. I still have never found a doubled eye, though.
