18 Groscher Question

harashaharasha Posts: 3,098 ✭✭✭✭✭
I recently purchased an 18 Groscher piece, mail order, from a respected vendor. When it arrived, it appeared somewhat off and slightly bent. It's a 1699 piece from Brandenburg. I will post a picture later, but my immediate question is how much it should weigh. The instant piece weighs 6.4 grams.
I have found other pieces, on the internet, at 5.95 grams and 6.27 grams. Does anyone have an idea as to how much it should weigh?

For whatever it's worth, my 1698 weighs 6.2 image - Preussen

Edited to add: Does yours look anything like this one?

Nice piece! I see some minor differences between the two, which is not unusual from year-to-year (sometimes even within the same year) image - Preussen
